The Ward family in the press
Here’s a link to a nice article from July 1, 2007, in the Port Huron Time Herald by Mike Connell. It mentions Sam Ward, Eber, Eber Brock, and Clara, and discusses some of Eber Brock’s plans for Port Huron that never came to fruition. I sent Mr. Connell and email today thanking him for the article and busting his chops just a little on a detail I took issue with. Any attention people pay to local history is good attention in my book, so I was excited to see such a thoughtful article.
